Dear Eduheroes,

Eduhero is on a mission to ensure learning is within reach for all, with a key focus on enhancing the accessibility of our platform. We recognize the importance of providing digital content that is usable for all, regardless of disabilities or impairments.

Recent Enhancements and Ongoing Efforts:

Updated Website: Our website now meets current accessibility standards.

Improved Course Accessibility: We're making our courses more inclusive by:
  • Ensuring screen reader compatibility.
  • Facilitating keyboard navigation.
  • Providing descriptive alt text for images.
  • Offering captioned video/audio content with transcripts.
  • Improving text legibility through better color contrast and font choices.

Accessibility-Friendly Courses:
We've tagged several courses as “Accessibility-Friendly.” As part of our ongoing commitment, every new course we introduce will adhere to these accessibility standards. Furthermore, we're dedicated to updating our existing courses to ensure they meet these criteria, making them more accessible for everyone.

These courses have been tagged as “Accessibility-Friendly” and meet the guidelines are:
  • Cybersecurity Training Program
  • Drugs & Alcohol Prevention for Staff and Students
  • Dyslexia Part 1: Characteristics
  • Dyslexia Part 2: Assessments
  • Dyslexia Part 3: Instruction
  • Employee Non-Discrimination in Schools
  • EpiPens in Schools
  • NARCAN in Schools
  • Orientation to the Code 2024
  • Section 504 Plans in the Classroom
  • More to come!

Looking Ahead
While we're proud of our progress in enhancing accessibility on Eduhero, we recognize that there is always room for improvement. As we move forward, we are committed to making our platform even more inclusive and accessible for all users.
